OIL ON LINEN I love the softness of oil paints and the texture of brush strokes, the slow drying colours that can be blended and pushed around on the canvas.
WATERCOLOUR I like the contrast of accurate pencil lines filled in with an unpredictable fluid colour spreading through water, it’s exciting to be never quite sure how things will end up.
DRAWINGS I’ve always loved drawing, the simplicity of one tool, a pencil and hand and eye working together without interruption.
